Important Notes
Please check the Downloads page to make sure you have the latest version of the product.
Before contacting Technical Support with a query, please make sure to read at least the "Getting Started" section of the Help file (c:\program files\evidence eliminator\help\ee.chm) associated with the product. You can locate this on the Start Menu next to the Evidence Eliminator™ shortcut, or press "Help" in the program.
The "Getting Started" section of Help covers simple set-up issues and gives you step-by-step easy instructions to get up and running with your software, maintain your computer and keep it running properly.
The Search tab of Help also contains a full-text search engine, that searches the Help file for key words and phrases relating to your question.
Please look to the top-left of the Help window and note the three tabs: Contents, Index, Search.
If you cannot see these tabs, press the "Show" button at the top-left of the window.
- Contents: Browses the Help file by the Table of Contents
- Index: Type any word into the Index to see a list of matching pages by keyword
- Search: Type any words into the Search tab to search the help file for words or phrases
TIP: Pick one or two words related to your question and enter them into the Index and Search functions. The answer you need is probably already there.
Also use this for questions about how the software works. For example, "What does the free space function do" can be answered by typing "free space" into the help index.
Multiple Questions?
You may enter multiple questions on this form. If you have more than one question, please make sure you have searched the helpfile (above) and the KnowledgeBase for each question individually.
Please ensure you have searched at least twice for each question on the KnowledgeBase. You can obtain fast answers there to most questions you are likely to ask.
Please take care to search carefully for an answer for each question before contacting support. Unfortunately a minority of people don't listen! This is why some other companies charge $30 per tech support question, and most don't even answer their e-mail at all! We do answer! Please help us to help you, by searching carefully and if you have to contact support, provide clear and accurate description of your query.
Any other programs running?
Any other programs you have running at the same time. Remember, you must close all programs before using Evidence Eliminator™. There should be no programs running. More help on closing conflicting, or hidden programs is available in the Knowledgebase.
